(KMOV) -- Residents from Park Hills and surrounding communities line up to speak out against the Ku Klux Klan and the members who showed up to hand out fliers last week.

About a dozen people lined up along Main Street in Park Hills with signs against the Klan.  They were reacting to the the Klan's presence in the same area last week.  Klan members showed up in full uniform last week to hand out fliers to anyone who would take one.

A representative with the Traditionalist American Knights, as they are called, told a News 4 reporter that they planned to continue their petition drive on restoring the Confederate flag at some historic sites in Missouri this weekend.  According to the representative, they plan on being out in public again.

Despite an indication that the Klan was thinking of showing up somewhere south of St. Louis, they were not out today.
