(KMOV) -- There are new flights out of Lambert starting Tuesday, September 7th.
Delta Airlines is celebrating its new service to New York-LaGuardia Airport, Reagan National in Washington, DC, and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.
There was a celebration at a couple of gates in the main terminal this morning before the first flight took off for LaGuardia.
Delta says it's increased flights out of St. Louis by 26% this past year and now trails only Southwest Airlines for most flights out of Lambert.
Delta is giving a way 25,000 free frequent flier miles to a random passenger before each of its flights to LaGuardia today as part of their celebration.
