ST. LOUIS  -- The city of Creve Coeur is putting the brakes on red-light cameras as it waits to see how the issue will play out in court, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The Post-Dispatch reports the Creve Coeur City Council voted unanimously Monday night to table a bill that would add new language to clarify the city’s law.

The move comes after a recent appeals court ruling questions the validity of citations targeting vehicle owners instead of the driver of the vehicle.
