Construction crane causes power outage in Chesterfield

(KMOV)—A construction crane incident knocks out power to the Chesterfield area, Monday afternoon.  

Around noon on Monday, a construction crane hit one of the power poles near the work site. The pole fell onto power lines causing them to sag.

The power was out in portions of the Chesterfield Valley. The area affected included Long Road, Baxter, Edison and Chesterfield Airport Road.

Also the intersection of Baxter and Edison was shut down due to this incident. 

Most of the people affected by this power outage, regained power within two hours after the incident.
