ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – An American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Lambert Airport on Monday after the co-pilot suffered chest pains.

Airport officials said American Airlines flight 2309 was on its way to Dallas from Chicago when the chest pains occurred.

The plane diverted to St. Louis and landed at Lambert Airport, where the co-pilot was treated.

No other injuries were reported.

Officials said the plane was scheduled to resume its flight sometime after 12 p.m.
