The owners of a Washington Avenue nightclub formerly known as Club Lure (now called Amnesia) appeared to have won a battle to keep their liquor license for the time being... but not so fast... the results are being challenged.

Neighborhood activists got area property owners and residents to sign petitions to get a judge to revoke the club's liquor license.  But the petitions came up short on the number of valid signatures.

This looked like great news for the Lure/Amnesia folks.  But moments after it became clear that was the case, the neighborhood protest group who say Lure brings a bad element (crime, noise, etc) to the neighborhood decided to challenge the ruling on their own petition.

So now a witness will come testify about a couple of signatures next Wednesday which could potentially change the ruling in the neighborhood groups favor.

We'll know more then.
