(KMOV.com) -- The city of Arnold is still issuing red light camera tickets but is telling those who get them that they don’t have to pay the fine.

The Arnold City Council voted to suspend prosecution of red light tickets after a judge ruled against the city in a lawsuit over the cameras in December, until the Supreme Court takes up the issue.

Arnold is under contract with the camera company and said it has to keep writing tickets. However, they said they won’t go after people and prosecute them.
