(KMOV) – St. Louis City is working on a strategy to make “Occupy” protestors follow city laws.

Protestors have been camping out in Kiener Plaza overnight, past park curfew.  A city ordinance also bans structures, like tents the protestors use.

Mayor Francis Slay claims the city offered demonstrators a permit, but so far, the group has refused.

Since the weather has become cooler, there are also safety concerns with protestors plugging heaters into city outlets, the city says.
