ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – St. Louis-area residents who’ve ever wanted to throw pumpkins off a building got their chance on Thursday.

The City Museum held its 3rd Annual “Throw Pumpkins off the Roof Day.”

During the event, the musem provided pumpkins for attendees to toss off the 10-story  museum. The goal was to hit a dumpster positioned in the parking lot below. Whoever hit the dumpster got free admission the next time they visted the museum.

Pumpkins were free with admission while supplies lasted.

On Wednesday, several people were seen chucking pumpkins off the building during what appeared to be a test run.
