NORTH ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Police are looking for the suspect who shot at three people, including a 9-year-old child, after an apparent road rage incident on Saturday.

According to police, the incident started at a traffic light on the Martin Luther King Bridge just before 1 p.m.

Three people, a 20-year-old female, an 18-year-old male and a 9-year-old male were in their car at the stop light when another vehicle pulled next to them. The person inside the vehicle started yelling and arguing with them.

The victims drove to the 4600 block of Cote Brilliant in north St. Louis, parked their vehicle and started walking toward a residence. As they were walking, the suspect’s vehicle appeared and someone inside started shooting.

The 20-year-old victim suffered gunshot wounds to both arms and her back. The 18-year-old victim suffered a graze wound to his neck. Both were taken to an area hospital. Their conditions are unknown. The 9-year-old was not injured.

The victims told police the suspect was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt. Police did not say if the suspect was male or female and if any description of the suspect’s vehicle was given.

An investigation is ongoing.
