(KMOV) -- One worker went to the hospital after an overflow alarm went off at GKN Aerospace in Hazelwood, Mo.
 
Fire engines and ambulances responded to the scene after a report of a possible chemical spill.
 
The Hazelwood fire department tells News 4 that a chemical did overflow into a container, but it was never exposed to the atmosphere.
 
Firefighters say three workers started to feel sick afterwards, officials say everything checked out at the plant checked out okay.
 
GKN Aerospace is a supplier for aviation equipment.
