(KMOV.com) -- In Missouri someone somewhere is injured in a vehicle accident every ten minutes.  In 2011, the last year that state-wide statistics are available, 786 men, women and children died in vehicle crashes in the Show Me State.  Most of those victims, 40-percent, were between the ages of 16 and 35.

Jackson County, Missouri was the deadliest with 71 fatalities in 2011.

142,966 crashes in 2011 accounted for property losses totaling more than $3 billion.
