(KMOV) – Buses will replace Metrolink trains at Lambert Airport this weekend so crews can finish construction on a new rail system interlocking the UMSL South Metrolink Station.
On Saturday and Sunday, Metro customers will be transported by bus shuttles to Metrolink stations between the airport and the Wellston Metrolink station.
During the shutdown, buses will pick up and drop off passengers on the lower level of both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Officials say passengers should allow an extra 30 minutes for the commutes.
Normal Metrolink service will resume on Monday.
