(KMOV) – Fire crews in Eureka rushed to contain a brush fire near the Six Flags Amusement park Sunday afternoon.
The fire broke out behind some homes on Top Notch Lane. Fire crews said the fire was contained, but not before burning across five acres. They were concerned that flames would spread to nearby homes, so a second fire crew was called in.
No injuries were reported and no homes were damaged.
