This happened in a wooded area off North Fork Drive in Byrnes Mill, Missouri late Thursday afternoon.

Police say that Jared Winters, 20, and the 15-year-old, Ryan Sargent, victim were deer hunting in the wooded area behind their houses.

According to police, Winters and Sargent were playfully pointed their bows at each other.  That's when police say Winters accidently struck his friend with an arrow.
