(KMOV) – For anyone looking for something fun to do with their kiddos before Halloween, “Boo at the Zoo” kicks off Friday at the St. Louis Zoo.

All children 12 and under will receive a treat upon entering the zoo every night from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. until October 30. Kids are encouraged to wear costumes.

Admission to the event is $4 for members and $5 for non-members. Children under 2 will get in for free while children ages 2 to 12 who wear a costume will get a $1 discount.

Parking for the event is free on the south lot only. The north lost and north entrance will be open on Oct. 18, 19, 25, 26 and 30.

Those wanting to attend can purchase online, by phone at (314) 646-4771, or at the door on night of the event.
