(KMOV.com) -- A Belleville man accused of sexually abusing a 2-year-old girl was already awaiting trial for abusing another child, according to a release on Friday.
Quincy Ware, 45, was arrested on Thursday after a witness notified police of a possible sexual assault in the 500 block of South Jackson St. Ware was later charged with two counts of sexual abuse, one count of attempted sexual assault and one count of sexual exploitation of a child.
The release states that Ware has a family relation to the victim.
Ware is also awaiting trial on charges of sexual assault and sexual abuse in East St. Louis. He was out on bond at the time of the alleged abuse in Belleville, according to police.
Ware's bond has been set at $750,000.
