RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV) – A crop duster pilot was killed when his plane crashed just north of Huntsville in Mid-Missouri on Friday.
According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Officer, the plane crashed in a field near County Road 1160.
Randolph County Sheriff Mark Nichols says the victim’s name hasn’t been released.
Nichols says a witness told deputies the small plane appeared to have clipped a tree top before crashing.
He says the crop-dusting plane was stationed in Chariton County, but the sheriff’s department hasn’t confirmed the name of the flying service.
