ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Police say a 4-month-old girl was reported dead after being found unresponsive in north St. Louis on Thurdsay.
Crews responded to the scene in the 5600 block of Etzel and immediateily began treating the infant.
A short time later, the young girl was transported to an area hospital, where she later died.
Her name has not been released.
Homicide and child abuse detectives wereinvestigating, which is standard procedure when a young child dies.
Her cause of death has not yet been determined.
