ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Police are investigating after a baby was found dead at a home in the West End on Friday morning.
Officers responded to reports of an infant not breathing at a residence in the 5600 block of Delmar around 10:25 a.m.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate. When police arrived on the scene, they found the child dead.
Police procedure requires an investigation into any death involving an infant. It is not clear if there was anything suspicious about the child's death.
