(KMOV.com) – A 74-year-old viewer contacted News 4 saying she received an offer for a free Wal-Mart gift card in return for some personal information. She sent the filled out card back, but never received her gift card.
The letter the viewer received claims to be from a life insurance company. It asks that you fill out a card and provide some information in exchange for a gift card.
The offer sounded suspicious, so News 4 contacted the Missouri Attorney General’s office. They said they have not seen the letter before, but wants to hear from anyone who sent in their information after receiving the letter.
