(KMOV.com) -- Another victim has died from the tornado that struck Harrisburg, Illinois last week.

Authorities said Donald Smith, 70, died Wednesday night at an Evansville, Indiana hospital of injuries sustained in the February 29 tornado. Smith’s wife remains hospitalized in critical condition.

Smith’s death brings the death toll in Harrisburg to seven.

Six other people died in or shortly after the tornado, which authorities say was 200 yards wide and packed winds of 170 mph. Most of the victims, including the Smiths, lived along a street that took the brunt of the storm.

Clean-up in the community is ongoing and volunteers are still needed along with donations of money and materials.
