(KMOV) – All lanes of Hanley Road are now open in Maplewood after crews made emergency repairs to a damaged sewer pipe.
Crews began making emergency repairs on Wednesday after a section of 42-inch corrugated metal stormwater sewer pipe collapsed underneath northbound Hanley just north of Manchester Tuesday night.
Varying lane restrictions had been in effect on Hanley since the pipe busted.
Now that work is complete, crews will return to the scene within a week to permanently restore pavement uprooted by the project.
Once permanent restoration begins, more lane restrictions will be required.
We'll be sure to update the story as soon as we learn more.
