(KMOV) – An accused double murder suspect was in the process of being set free on Friday.

Angelo Jackson, 24, has spent two years in jail after being convicted in the murders of Andre Sims and Elroy Ragland inApril 2011 in Jennings.

The charges were dropped because of two different accounts from two witnesses and officials.

“The charges have been nolle pros so he is in the process of being released by Justice Services,” said Edward Magee from the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office.

The family of Andre Sims was shocked by the decision saying they were told one witness to the shooting positively identified Angelo Jackson.

“Where is the justice?” Sims’ mother Ann Jackson said.  “I can never see my son again, where is the justice?”
