FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo (KMOV.com) -- A driver was killed when he lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway in Franklin County Monday night.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. along Highway H, south of Red Oak Road.

According to a police report, the driver, Gregory A. Goocher, 48, from Sullivan, Missouri was traveling down Highway H when he lost control of his minivan. The van left the roadway, struck a tree and rolled over. The tree the van struck then fell onto the van.

Police said Goocher was the only occupant in the vehicle.

The Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating.
