ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – All lanes were of eastbound Interstate 44 were closed in south St. Louis due to a wreck Thursday evening. Traffic was getting through on the shoulder.
Police said two vehicles collided and caught fire near Laclede Station Rd. around 4 p.m.
Authorities closed off all lanes of eastbound I-44 at Murdoch Avenue.
Drivers were being advised to take other routes if possible.
