AT&T refund finally arrives after local viewer called Colombo

 (KMOV) – News 4 followed up on a promise kept by a large phone company after a viewer called Colombo for help.

Last month, Pamela Blome told News 4’s Mike Colombo that she received a $215 installation fee on her new AT&T bill a month after moving to St. Louis.

Outraged that the company unknowingly charged her, she called AT&T who then promised her a refund.

The bills kept coming without a refund for months before Colombo stepped in.

The company told News 4 there was an oversight, apologized and promised, again to refund the charge.

On Tuesday, Blome called to report she finally received a credit on her latest bill for the faulty installation charge.
