Accused murderer Terry Sedlacek has been ruled unfit to stand trial.

In an order signed Tuesday by Circuit Judge Richard Tognarelli, the court accepted testimony from court-appointed, licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Robert Heilbronner that Sedlacek suffered from schizophrenia and was unable to aid his attorneys with a proper defense.

Sedlacek, 27, of Troy, had been charged with murder in the March 8 killing of Rev. Fred Winters, former pastor at First Baptist Church Maryville and was ordered to undergo a mental evaluation this past July.
