COLUMBIA, Ill. (AP) -- An internationally known pathologist helped review the murders of a southwestern Illinois woman and her two sons before the arrest this week of the boys' father.

Michael Baden (BAH'-dun), chief forensic pathologist for the New York State Police, says police asked him to review the murders of Sheri Coleman and her two sons, Garett and Gavin, late last week.

Baden declined Thursday to comment on his findings.

Chris Coleman pleaded not guilty Wednesday to strangling his family in their home and was ordered held without bond.

He is charged with three counts of first-degree murder. All three were found dead in their Columbia home on May 5.
