600 IBEW workers protest in south St. Louis over union recognition

(KMOV) – A large protest over union recognition attracted about 600 IBEW workers outside of a union hall on Hampton Ave. in south St. Louis Tuesday evening.

An IBEW spokesperson says they organized this informational picket because the Carpenter’s Union started their own electrical union, which IBEW says is not backed by an official union.
