Driver loses control of vehicle, strikes four south St. Louis County students

(KMOV) -- Four students walking to the Bayless School District in south St. Louis County were struck by a vehicle Monday morning.

The driver of a Jeep Cherokee lost control of his vehicle on Weber Road in front of the Bayless School District building, striking the students on the sidewalk.

The four students, in grades 2, 3, 7, and 10 were treated by emergency medical personnel and transported to a local hospital for evaluation.  No word on the extent of injuries, but the St. Louis County police are reported none of the injuries are severe.
