(KMOV) – Police continue to search for four suspects who ditched a vehicle after robbing a man in north St. Louis County Thursday morning.

Police say four men walked up to another man in the 600 block of Belmont around 2:30 a.m. They then robbed the victim, taking a small amount of cash and other belongings.

The victim was not hurt.

Police say the suspects drove off in a maroon Buick, which was spotted by Normandy police as it headed toward the city.

Other departments were notified of the robbery and Pine Lawn police saw the car at Jennings Station and Interstate 70. They followed it into an alley in the 400 block of Penrose.

Police say that’s when the robbers ditched the car and took off.

Ferguson and St. Louis police are working together to find the four men. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call local authorities.
