3 rushed to hospital after 2 late night shootings in North St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – St. Louis Police had a busy night responding to shootings across the city.

According to police, two victims of one shooting were shot around 11:25 p.m. in the 4200 block of North 21st Street.

Police say that a man in his 50s was sent to an area hospital in critical condition with bullet wounds to his face and back. The other victim, a 45-year-old man was shot in the back and leg. He is listed in serious, but stable condition.

Police tell News 4 that the victims were outside when two men stepped out from a gangway and opened fire.

Another shooting took place around 3:30 a.m in the 4500 block of Margaretta in North City.

According to reports, the victim, a 30-year-old black male, was shot in the shoulder and the arm. The victim was rushed to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Police reports say the suspect, a black male, fled the scene in a gray Chevrolet Impala.

At this time, police are investigating the shootings as isolated incidents. No suspect descriptions have been released in the N. 21st shooting.

Both investigations are ongoing.
