ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) --- Police are searching for three men dressed as service workers, who invaded a north St. Louis home on Tuesday.

Authorities say a female visitor responded to a knock at her friend’s home on the 3800 block of Ashland on Tuesday.

She opened the door to find three men, dressed to look like maintenance workers at the door. The woman left the suspects to alert the male homeowner of their arrival. That’s when, police say, the three suspects entered the home and handcuffed the homeowner.

Police say a gun and an undetermined amount of money was stolen from the residence. No one was injured during the home invasion.

The suspects were able to flee the scene. No other suspect descriptions are available at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
