3 charged after multiple meth labs found in home with children inside

WARRENTON, Mo. (KMOV) – Three people are in custody after deputies found multiple active methamphetamine labs inside a home containing three children in Warren County on Saturday.

 

Alychia Cooper, 33, Jeromy Golden, 19, and Ashley O’Haver, 28, were each charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, distributing a controlled substance and three counts of endangering welfare of a child.

According to police, officers responded to the area of Abrolate Road after someone who called 911 hung up.

Upon their arrival, officers began going door-to-door to find out about the original call.

When officers got to the 23000 block of Abrolate Road, they smelled something suspicious coming from inside the home.

They also saw a burn pile in the backyard that continued items usually associated with manufacturing meth.

The officers knocked on the door and asked to search the home, but the suspects refused.

Deputies said they secured the scene and got a search warrant. They then searched the home and found three separate active meth labs.

Three children – ages 2, 13 and 14 – were also found in the house. The children were removed from the house and placed in protective custody.

All three suspects were taken into custody. They were each give $50,000 bond.
