(KMOV.COM) – Police say a second suspect has been arrested in the death of Kenneth Deal, who was killed in Madison, Ill. on May 19.
The Major Case Squad says Turhan Robinson, 37, was arrested in Las Vegas, Nev. on Thursday. He remains in custody at the Clark County Jail pending extradition to Illinois.
Another suspect in the case, 30-year-old Terrence Lee, was arrested May 24 and later charged with charged with four counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted first-degree murder and one count of armed robbery. His bail was set at $1 million.
Police believe Lee and Robinson shot and killed Deal near the intersection of 34d and Washington in Madison, Ill. The suspects then led police on a chase into St. Louis. The pursuit lasted about 10 minutes until police lost sight of the suspects’ vehicle near the intersection of Newhouse and 25th.
