(KMOV.com) – Homicide investigators are investigating after a man was shot in north St. Louis County early Monday morning.
Police said the shooting happened around 12:24 a.m. near the 5600 block of Mimika in the Walnut Park West neighborhood. Witnesses told police they saw a man run from an alley and collapse in the front yard of a home.
Authorities report, the victim, a 24-year-old black male, was shot once in the chest. He is in critical, unstable condition.
There’s no word on any suspects.
