2 teenage suspects in custody following downtown armed robbery Thursday night

Police arrested 18-year-old Perry Brown, of East St. Louis, and charged him with three counts of first Degree Robbery and three counts of Armed Criminal Action in connection to an armed robbery Thursday night.

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Two teenagers are in police custody in connection to an armed robbery Thursday night.

Police arrested 18-year-old Perry Brown, of East St. Louis, and charged him with three counts of first Degree Robbery and three counts of Armed Criminal Action.  A 16-year-old male was also arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in the custody of Juvenile Authorities.

According to police, three men in their 20s were robbed at gunpoint of their cell phones and money in the 500 block of Locust at 10:24 p.m. Following the robbery, the three victims ran to Ballpark Village where they called police, authorities say.

The cell phones have been recovered by investigators, according to police.
