(KMOV) – Police are searching for two women after one of them allegedly kidnapped another woman after they robbed a store in the Chesterfield mall on Friday.

According to police, 22-year-old Cierra Baker and another woman walked into the H&M store around 5 p.m. and started putting merchandise in booster bags.

Police say the two tried leaving the store and were confronted by a security guard. Baker then allegedly reached into her purse, grabbed a can of mace and sprayed the security guard.

The suspects fled the store, separating in the parking lot.

Authorities say Baker then assaulted a woman sitting in her car and jumped into the passenger seat. She took the woman’s cell phone and forced her to drive to the Big Bend Rd. and Interstate 64 area.

According to police, Baker had the woman wait at a gas station until a white vehicle with tinted windows picker her up.

The victim did not suffer any injuries.

Anyone with information on Baker or the other suspect is asked to call Chesterfield police at 636-537-3000 or St. Louis Crimestoppers at 314-725-TIPS.
