MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. (KMOV) -- Police say a man accidentally shot himself and his wife in Maryland Heights on Friday.
Police said the man was showing his gun to his wife in the 100 block of Edgeworth around 1:40 p.m. when the weapon discharged.
The bullet struck the man in the hand and his wife in the leg.
The victims were transported to the hospital. Officials said the injuries were not life-threatening.
