ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Two suspects face charges after they allegedly slammed into police vehicles while fleeing a pursuit in St. Louis on Thursday.
Jesse Hampton faces two counts of assault and resisting arrest and Ryan Bryant was charged with receiving stolen property.
According to police, officers spotted a silver BMW matching a car authorities have been looking for near the intersection of Union and Minerva around 1:45 p.m.
The chase made its way through parts of the city and ended after the suspects side-swiped two police vehicles near the intersection of Hodiamont and Page.
Both men were arrested, though the driver was transported to the hospital with a leg injury.
One of the officers that was hit suffered a minor injury to his foot.
Police said the BMW may be the same vehicle wanted for a shooting on Kingshighway Wednesday and numerous break-ins throughout the past couple weeks.
