(KMOV) – Police are investigating after two brothers were shot by a neighbor in north St. Louis Sunday evening.
According to police, a 43-year-old neighbor shot the victims as they were walking in the 2600 block of Burd around 8:30 p.m.
Police say one of the brothers, 20, suffered gunshot wounds to his head, neck and jaw. He taken to the hospital in critical condition. His 16-year-old brother was struck in both ankles. He was transported in stable condition.
According to police, the shooter fled the scene in a green van. Police believe he may have been angry at the victims for a previous incident.
The suspect remains at large.
