2 armed suspects rob south St. Louis gas station, flee

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) – Police are searching for two armed men who robbed a south St. Louis gas station early Friday morning.

According to authorities, two armed men entered a Circle K gas station located in the 8200 block of S. Broadway at 12:35 a.m.

The suspects then demanded money from the clerk. Police say the suspects were given about $150 in cash and fled the scene.

Officers arrived on scene shortly after the suspects and were searching the premises with the help of K-9 units.

Investigators are now reviewing surveillance footage in hopes of identifying and catching the suspects.

According to police, both suspects appear to be in their late teens or early 20s. One of the men is about 160 pounds with a medium build and light complexion while the other is about 230 pounds with a dark complexion. Both men were wearing hooded sweatshirts and jeans and had scarves over their faces.
