OVERLAND, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A 2-alarm fire riped through a home in Overland early Saturday morning.
Fire crews arrived on Clarendon Avenue at 3:40 a.m. Saturday and saw fire coming through the roof of the home.
Firefighter started to put the fire out from the inside of the home but the fire became to dangerous. They then started to put the fire out from the outside.
Crew had difficulty reaching the fire due to the floor being partially collapsed.
Investigators say no one was home at the time of the fire. The fire department is waiting for the family to return home.
No word on how the fire was started.
