CHESTERFIELD, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Firefighters battled a two-alarm house fire in Chesterfield Thursday morning.
The fire started around 8:45 a.m. inside a two-story home in the 1400 block of Carriage Cross Lane.
When firefighters arrived, they reported flames shooting from the rear of the house.
Authorities did not say if anyone was inside the home when the fire started, but no injuries were reported.
The home reportedly suffered extensive fire and water damage.
Officials have not yet determined how the fire started.
