Two suspects sought after robbing south St. Louis gas station

(KMOV.com) -- Police are searching for two men who robbed a Circle K in south St. Louis early Friday morning.

Authorities said one of the suspects held open the front door while the other entered the Circle K in the 2100 block of Hampton around 1:45 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk.

Police said the clerk gave them a bunch of small bills out of the register and the suspects fled the scene heading northbound towards Interstate 44. Neither suspect was armed, according to police.

Authorities said one of the suspects was wearing a green shirt while the other had on a white shirt with tiger-rimmed glasses. Police said they were looking at surveillance video in hopes of getting better leads in the investigation.

No injuries were reported.
