(KMOV.com) -- Police have arrested two suspects in the stabbing death of a 31-year-old woman in St. Louis County.

St. Louis County investigators on Monday confirmed they arrested and booked two men, ages 47 and 48, following an investigation into the murder of Shrelia Barnes.

Barnes was found stabbed near Chambers and Duke around 3 a.m. Sunday morning. Police said two individuals dropped her off at Christian Northeast Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Police later contacted one of the people who rushed Barnes to the hospital. Police said that person told officers Barnes had been arguing with someone over money when the stabbing occurred.

St. Louis County police expect to formally file charges Monday afternoon.
