St. Peters, MO (KMOV.com) -- Due to the prolonged dry spell in the area, the City of St. Peters has issued a voluntary water conservation order until further notice.
The city is asking water customers to limit outside water use like lawn sprinkling, car washing, and other non-essential purposes.
The voluntary order is a precautionary measure to lessen strain on equipment at the water treatment plant, water booster station and water distribution system.
