State Highway P & U.S. Highway 61
WENTZVILLE, Mo. (KMOV) -- A 16-year-old Wentzville girl was killed Monday night in a three-vehicle accident, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Authorities said Michelle D. Hampton was driving westbound on State Highway P when she failed to stop at the intersection with U.S. Highway 61.
Hampton’s 1994 Chevrolet Corsica was struck on the front drivers’ side by a northbound pickup truck being driven Robert E. Wieland, 50, of Troy, Mo.
The collision pushed Wieland’s 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche into a 1998 Buick Regal being driven by 43-year-old Michael R. Walton of Moscow Mills, Mo.
Hampton was pronounced dead at the scene around 5:30 p.m.
