(KMOV.com) -- An alcohol-fueled party at a Highland, Illinois home was broken up by police on Saturday and eleven underage drinkers ended up in handcuffs.
Police said they received a report around 1:54 a.m. about a party at a residence in the 12,000 block of Deer Run Road. The caller stated there could be possible underage drinking going on inside the house.
When deputies arrived on scene, they met an 18-year-old resident who told police he was having a small party. Alcohol was found at the party and police discovered most of the attendees who were drinking were under 21 years of age.
The 18-year-old, John P. Junge, was arrested for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. According to police reports, ten other underage drinkers were arrested and also charged with unlawful consumption. The other ten have been identified as follows: Adam J. Lutes, 19; Jacob W. Broadhurst, 20; Jordan D. Mettler, 19; Dylan L. Frey, 20 and Caitlyn N. King, 19, all from Highland. Also arrested was Cody A. Brown, 18, from Pocohontas, Jeffrey T. Goodall, 19, from Greenville, Kyle P. Kostermann, 20, from Aviston, Thomas W. Gibbs, 19, from Alhambra and Alixander M. Rakers, 18, from Breese.
All suspects were transported to the Madison County Jail and held on $100.00 cash bond.
Police said they were in contact with others inside the residence, but they were at least 21 years of age. At this time, investigators have not determined who provided the alcohol for the party.
